Life can seem unpredictable and random at times, can’t it?

Often times, it seems that our own happiness is at the mercy of other people and the outer world.

We may tend to feel like we have no control and live with low level anxiety always wondering what is coming next.

Or we may try to preemptively control or ‘help’ everyone and everything around us in an attempt to keep things from going wrong.

This is where all human beings start but the good news is that, eventually, most of us begin catching on to the knowing that there has to be another way. And there is!

We can learn to intentionally design our experience of our lives and the effectiveness of our actions. But like any project or situation, we have to understand the system we are working with first if we are going to optimize performance.

By looking at the interface between yogic philosophy and modern science, we can glean an OPERATORS MANUAL FOR THE HUMAN BODY & MIND, a practical guide to our psychology and biology and how they interweave to create both the feel of our lives and as well as our impact on the world.

In this lecture overview, we will see that our experience of life does not have to improve randomly. Every human has the ability to predictably fall into that radical and untouchable state of joy right in the middle of our very real, very messy, very precious lives. We are simply wired that way. Learn how to skillfully operate your body and mind and live life happier!
